We have inaugurated the solar photovoltaic park developed at the José Amalfitani Stadium, marking a milestone in operational efficiency for Argentine first-division clubs.
This distributed generation project features 210 state-of-the-art bifacial solar panels capable of generating approximately 180 MWh annually. It can meet up to 25% of the Club’s energy consumption and offers the ability to feed surplus energy back into the Edesur grid.
Taking on this challenge is both a source of pride and a tremendous responsibility. As our Project Manager, Maximiliano Gonella, highlighted: “We are not only bringing cutting-edge technology to a historic venue but also creating an efficient, sustainable management model that will pave the way for other sports institutions.”
This project joins the 17 solar park and energy storage initiatives we currently have under development in provinces such as Santa Fe, San Juan, Corrientes, Santiago del Estero, Córdoba, and Buenos Aires.
Backed by Grupo Corven, we continue to build the infrastructure needed for the energy of tomorrow, transforming resources into development.
Thank you to the authorities at Vélez Sarsfield for trusting us with this major step toward sustainable sports! 🤝🌱
