As part of the #AlmaSADI national call for proposals—the first federal tender of its kind—we submitted 17 energy storage projects across 8 provinces: 14 directly and 3 through the Córdoba Provincial Energy Company (EPEC).
With this initiative, we aim to support the energy transition in the country and the region by integrating BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) technology into the Argentine Interconnection System.
In this new phase, we aim to develop a projected capacity of approximately 600 MW, aligning with our growth strategy in renewable generation and storage. The tender involves 15-year contracts with CAMMESA, under a framework designed to strengthen the reliability and flexibility of the national power grid.
Coral Energía’s participation in AlmaSADI complements the projects the company already has underway as part of the #AlmaGBA tender. In that process, we were awarded two 100 MW BESS storage parks—representing an estimated investment of $90 million—which are scheduled to come online this December.
